​My Field Strength wheatgrass develops the highest nutritional density possible, much more than any other method of commercially grown wheatgrass for point of delivery juicing. It is an established fact that field grown wheatgrass, harvested at the jointing stage, outperforms all other growing methods, and  is the most powerful and nutritious. Field grown wheatgrass is more nutritious than 7 - 10 day old wheatgrass sprouts. Gourmet Wheatgrass is field grown, Natural and Organic. I never use fertilizer, pesticides or herbicides. My field pots are sealed with organic hemp oil and dried. This organic sealer isolates the plastic from the plant and prevents any plant uptake of potentially toxic chemicals inherent of plastic.

    ​Much confusion prevails about wheatgrass. Many well intentioned wheatgrass growers and consumers are not accurately identifying when the wheatgrass plant actually begins the jointing stage of growth, or aware of the benefits to the wheatgrass plant when it is grown in full sun and deep soil. Many growers mistakenly believe its possible for a wheatgrass plant to reach the jointing stage when it is only 10 days old, or that artificial light and an indoor growing environment will optimize the plants nutritional potential.
​     There is no substitute for natural growing conditions, only compromises. Mold, plastic chemicals, and low nutrition are the result of compromised wheatgrass, usually for the sake of profit and convenience. Wheatgrass in any form or growing condition is still beneficial for your health, and it is better to take what you can get, rather than not at all, but if you want the best you can get, make sure it is field grown. Mother Nature can't be improved upon, but it can be manipulated, usually at the cost of our health. Gourmet Wheatgrass is optimized wheatgrass, it is never compromised.

​​There are many benefits of wheatgrass juice regarding the therapeutic treatment of a health condition. If you are considering the use of wheatgrass for the treatment of a health condition, you are on the right path, and there are many testimonials and research about that subject. I developed Gourmet Wheatgrass specifically for the purpose of improving health conditions through proper nutrition and building a strong immune system. Field grown wheatgrass will provide more health benefits than indoor grown wheatgrass, because only field grown wheatgrass can reach the jointing stage which is nutritionally superior. Wheatgrass provides B 17 which is highly effective for killing cancer cells. High quality, jointing stage wheatgrass, will  be more effective for the treatment of cancer. Many growers are claiming they provide jointing stage wheatgrass, but unless it is a lot older that 10 days old it is not possible. In fact, all indoor grown shallow soil wheatgrass, will not survive long enough to reach the jointing stage. Wheatgrass sprouts are 7-10 day old grass, and will be hydroponically, or shallow soil grown in a warehouse or greenhouse. These methods fall way short of the jointing stage. Also, these methods typically, but not always, produce mold. Field grown will almost never produce mold.
